pricing & Schedule for our junior kindergarten

Woodsong is excited to offer a part-time, full day, whimsical kindergarten experience. All learning is seasonal and nature-based, and connected to the children’s daily outdoor discoveries. We will utilize best practices in Early Childhood Education including Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, and other inspired teaching philosophies, to create a holistic approach to education for this age group.  This program serves as a junior kindergarten experience or as an enrichment to support homeschool families, acting as a wonderful bridge between half-day forest kindergarten and full-time kindergarten.

part-time, Full Day junior kindergarten options at woodsong:

for ages 5

9:00 a.m. - 3:00 PM: 

5 days a week (M/T/W/TH/F) $7,560 for the year, $630 a month over 12 months

3 days a week (M/W/F) $4,500 for the year, $500 a month throughout 9 month school year

2 days a week (T/TH) $3,015 for the year, $335 a month throughout 9 month school year

What does a day at Forest school look like?

9:00 am - Mindful Arrival: Sit Spots, Sharing Circle and Morning Meeting

9:20 - Forest Play and Exploration with Teacher Facilitated Learning Experiences

10:35 - Snack and Story Time with Dialogue

11:00 - Art/ Drama/ Handwork/ Gardening/ Cooking

12:00 pm - Lunch

12:30 - Forest Free Play

3:00 - Parent Pickup
